Math Department Grading Scale: 

• Homework: 20%
• Daily Work (Bell Work): 10%
• Quizzes, Projects, Centers & Binder Checks: 20%
• Tests: 50%

Late Paper Policy:

Students are expected to appear in class, on time, and prepared. Assignments are due on the day and hour in which the student has the class.  Typically, assignments are due at the beginning of class.   If the work is submitted after it has been asked to be turned in, then the work will be considered late.  

Formative Assignments/ Daily Work:

Each student will be given one “oops" pass per quarter. This will allow students to turn in a formative assignment the very next day to be graded with no penalty. The passes may be used on formative assignments only.

Once the "oops" pass has been used, an assignment turned in the very next day will only be given 50% of the credit earned.  If not turned in that very next day, the assignment will be given a score of zero.  

Summative Assignments/ Projects:

• 1 day late- 10% off
• 2 days late- 50% off
• 3 days late- zero credit
